We can design and install voice and data copper cabling, fibre optics and wireless solutions but we are more than just a voice and data cabling company. We offer networking products (hubs, switches, routers, NICs), KVM switches, projectors and interactive white boards, cabinets and intelligent patching. We also offer telephony solutions, including Voice over IP (VOIP), as well as the opportunity to save money on your call charges.

Our unique Project Information Monitoring System (PIMS) offers you real time access to the status of your project and is a service that we offer free of charge on all projects. CableSolve offers complete management of your physical voice and data cabling infrastructure and connected devices without the requirement for expensive additional hardware or manual data input, making it a cost effective alternative to other ‘intelligent’ patching solutions.

Copper Data Cabling

At the heart of every IT system is the data cabling infrastructure, the nuts and bolts that hold the whole system together. Without a good quality data cabling system data will be transmitted slower, information can be corrupted or lost and, in the very worst cases, systems will simply fail to run.

Modern IT systems transmit data at up to 10Gigabits per second (10 billion bits per second). These very high data transmission rates demand very high performance cabling systems with bandwidths of more than 250 MHz. However, not everyone needs the highest performance on offer. TOTLCOM tailors data cabling solutions to meet the customer's data cabling requirements, especially those of cat 5e cabling and cat6 cabling.

TOTLCOM has been installing data cabling infrastructures since 1988 and has gained the experience and expertise to enable us to offer a broad range of data cabling solutions. The copper data cabling installation portfolio includes:

We can install data cabling solutions ranging in size from 10 to 10,000 outlets and have experience in a wide variety of different environments including Schools, Universities, Hotels, Manufacturing, Computer Centers and Financial Institutions.

Copper data cabling outlets can be presented in floor boxes, dado trunking, skirting trunking or surface mounted back boxes. A wide range of different faceplate styles are available to meet your functional and/or decorative requirements. Patch panels can be modular or PCB, depending on the solution specified, and is typically 24 ports in 1U, although other configurations are available. All installations of cat 5e cabling and cat 6 cabling are tested using Fluke DSP 4100, 4300 or DTX1800 testers to ensure compliance with the relevant standards and test results are included with the handover documentation.
